What is a Solarium?

Many people want to know if a Solarium is three or four seasons? Generally, a three-season solarium would be single pane glazing with little to know climate control. We would consider this room a greenhouse for plants and hobbyists, a greenhouse is not a winterized Solarium addition designed for year-round living.

A true year-round solarium has unobstructed views with floor-to-ceiling windows, doors and all glass roof. A Patio Enclosures Brand Solarium is has double-pane Insulated glass and has been engineered for all four seasons complete with climate-controlled heating & Conditioning.

At Complete Home Construction Patio Enclosures, we understand that adding a Solarium addition to your home can be a big expense. Every home has its own unique characteristics that must be factored in to each sunroom designed. This is why the same room on a different home can have the cost vary with items such as, type of foundation, connection to home, is it a bungalow or a two story, do you require a concrete foundation or deck and post? This why you will not find Solarium Addition Cost listed on our website.
